Dear Business Owner,

Your business has an Opportunity To Get Involved. The business community is a missing link. I created Y.C.S.H.T.C. to educate, collaborate and eradicate Human Trafficking in North San Diego County. This may sound impossible. Yet, it will take EVERY BUSINESS to stand up and educate our community.

What is Human Trafficking?

Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery where perpetrators profit from the sexual exploitation and/or forced labor of men, women and children. It is a violation of basic human rights, and it is also a crime as defined by U.S. federal law and California state law.

Sex trafficking is the exploitation of a person by means including coercion or deceit to engage in commercial sexual activity, prostitution, exotic dancing, or pornography. (When the victim is a minor under the age of 18 years old, sex trafficking does not require force or coercion. Minors cannot legally consent to sexual activity)

Labor trafficking is the exploitation of a person by means including coercion or deceit for labor services. Labor trafficking victims are often forced into domestic servitude, construction, restaurant, agricultural, massage parlors, or sweatshop factory work with little or no pay.

One day when I ordered food from In-N-Out Burger about 2 years ago. I read the hotline phone numbers on their bag about Human Trafficking, I thought if In-N-Out Burger can do it,

Why Can't Businesses?

I created “You Can Stop Human Trafficking Campaign” to educate, collaborate and eradicate Human Trafficking in North San Diego County. It is simple, free and can start a national movement to Stop Human Trafficking.

The campaign has 2 points:

WHY- Did I Create You Can Stop Human Trafficking Campaign? - To create a national movement where our humanitarian efforts become contagious. Our girls have waited long enough. They are waiting for someone to Rescue Them!!!

HOW - through a New Community Resource Page added to your business website. The Resource Page will provide Hotline phone numbers to Exit Human Trafficking/Abuse/Drugs.

My goal is to have Chambers, businesses, non-profits, and agencies join the movement.

To join the campaign takes 3 simple steps.

1. Add a Community Resource Tab on your business website home page.

2. Post these 5 hotlines phone numbers/can add your local food shelter/mental health/ county clinics contacts as well.
